2013-2014
The students at Indian Creek have spent the year working on their math skills using this district-wide online program. As our students practice adding, subtracting, multiplying, fractions, and so much more they are also competing against each other, other classes, and other schools across the district and country by earning points. In April, the DeKalb County School District Math Department recognized those in the school district who have done amazingly well on the program and several of our students, classes, and the entire school did very well. We had the state representative and company vice president in our school on Thursday, May 15, to recognize the outstanding work our students have done!
Following are the awards Indian Creek recieved this year...
***Top School in the District (most points out of 90+ elementary and middle schools)
**Top Team (class) in the District (The NyChamps)
*6 of the top 10 Students in the District!
Furthermore, we have the top 5th grade team in the district, the top 4th grade team in the district, 3 of the top 10 teams in the district, and the #4 team in the entire nation!!!
