Coding classes for Indian Creek students!!!
We have an exciting opportunity for our Indian Creek students to participate in evening CODING courses (virtual). If your child is interested in technology (computers, robotics, or gaming) and learning how it works, this is a chance for him/her to gain experience. The courses will last 16 weeks (spring/summer), 2 days a week (Mon & Thurs), at 7:00-8:00PM (Days/Times may change).
**NOTE: You must have a computer, laptop, or tablet at home your child can use to participate (phones are not ideal for the course).

Robotics for All is offering these classes to our students free of charge. The classes will be divided into K-1st, 2nd-3rd, and 4th-5th. They will learn about coding on the popular platforms, Code.org and Scratch, with the help of an experienced instructor.

* Please sign up using the form link below if you would like your child to be enrolled in the program.
** If you answer "no" to any of the first three questions your child cannot be enrolled in the program.
*** If you have more than one child you would like to enroll, you will need to fill out a separate form for each child.

E-SPLOST Program

Greetings Friends of DCSD,

Thank you for being valued partners with the DeKalb County School District (DCSD). In our efforts to keep you updated and informed, please see the links below to learn more about the E-SPLOST Program. The E-SPLOST will support the creation of Early Childhood Programs in every region in the district. This investment will help our district realize the aspirational Vision of a DCSD Graduate.

E-SPLOST is a one-penny sales tax that allows school districts to fund their capital improvements. The voters of DeKalb County will be asked to extend the one-penny sales tax for another five years. This Education Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax is critical to building our children’s future and equipping our community for success.

For additional information about the E-SPLOST, you may also visit the following links:
